Model of a Bowtop Vardo
It houses and develops a wide- ranging collection of over 10,000 items to support teaching and learning in the classroom. The collection includes historical and natural history items, a variety of artifacts from around the world, paintings, sculpture, ceramics, glass, textiles and even chairs.
The service has been working in partnership with Travellers Education to collect a representative range of artifacts and to develop Loan Boxes illustrating the home-life and crafts of Gypsies and Travellers.

The international Roma artist Ferdinand Koci, who has exhibited at the West Park Centre, created the illustrations for "Open Roads, Open Minds" the Storytelling resource by the Gypsy Roma Travellers Achievement Service.
