A Beginners Guide...

... to Gypsy and Traveller Young People

CD coverThis is an interactive CD ROM that has been designed as a resource for teachers, youth and health workers who are new to working with young Gypsy Travellers and wish to know more.

This CD extensively references previous studies, projects and resources to ensure that a broad and balanced picture of the issues is available. Please use the footnotes to find an extensive list of 'further reading'. The 'Resources' section of this CD also outlines the many excellent education materials that have been written for and about Gypsy and Traveller Young People.

This project consulted Gypsy and Traveller young people throughout the country, directly and through the CyberPilot website.

This CD was produced as part of the Community Education and Capacity Building Project at Friends, Families and Travellers and funded by the Commission for Racial Equality. The project manager was Tammy Furey.
