DVDs and CD-Roms
Get an interactive CD ROM that has been designed as a resource for teachers, youth and health workers who are new to working with young Gypsy Travellers and wish to know more. It's free to download or a small fee to order a CD-ROM.
The Romani Project at the University of Manchester has an educational Romani Language DVD-ROM, that is available to download for FREE.

School Resources
We have collected cultural school resources so that schools can readily avail themselves of resources which reflect the culture, history, language and experience of Travellers. These resources can be viewed at our Resource Centre or we can offer INSET sessions in Leeds schools.

It is very important for all children to see their home culture reflected in a positive way in the school curriculum and also for all children to learns about the different communities that make up our society.
The planning and purchase of these resources and including them in the school curriculum is a vital step in raising awareness and understanding about Travellers amongst all school staff and pupils.
Resources on the Holocaust Memorial Day Trust website
There is an extensive range of materials available for schools on the 'Holocaust Memorial Day Trust' website, including Holocaust Memorial events.
The material also includes a letter written to school children, by Johnny Delaney's sister, warning them of the dangers of bullying, racism and prejudice and the impact that Johnny's death has had upon the family.

The Times Educational Supplement - On the Move
The Times Educational Supplement - Teacher produced an excellent profile about Travellers and also how this can be incorporated into the national Curriculum for all children.

It can be used to enrich the curriculum for all children. In writing this Learning Resource into schemes of work across the Key Stages it will help in the process of ‘inculcating race equality into the curriculum and moving teaching and learning on.’
