The qualitative research which involved 49 interviews with transient families and local health workers and stakeholders, demonstrates the problems of access to culturally sensitive health care services transient families face in Leeds. The research also highlights the shortage of quality sites for Gypsies and Travellers within the Leeds area.

The research was carried out through the co-operation and support of Gypsies and Travellers through on site interviews.
